We hope 2015 has been a fruitful and fun year for you.

It’s now 2016, and instead of making resolutions, why not try making a “system” instead? So for example, instead of saying “I resolve to be a better juggler”, try “I resolve to practice my juggling at least 5 minutes a day” ? It has worked wonders for all of us and we hope it does the same for you.

Wickup is currently (as far as we know) the only circus/object manipulation blog that focuses on the Asia/Asia-Pacific/Oceania region. We will continue to feature circus-based events in these regions, as well as share cool videos on a regular basis.

Thanks to everyone who has subscribed/followed this blog (that means you!), do help tell your friends about us. If you have any suggestions or if you would like us to feature your event/group, you can drop us a word here.

There will be lots of big stuff happening in the first half of 2016.

The Freeflow Fire and Arts Festival is in Cambodia.

Over in the land of sheep and Lord-of-the-Rings, there is the 10th Northland Circus Festival. as well as the New Zealand Juggling and Circus Festival.

Down under, the Spin Circus Festival returns, along with the Tasmanian Circus Festival and the Western Australian Circus Festival. Australia will also be busy with Blazing Swan, the Australian Circus Festival 2016 / Australian Circus Industry Awards 2016, and Spunout 2016.

India hosts the annual Injuco in January.

Not to be outdone, the Philippines will host the annual Philippine Flow Festival.

Hoopers will be heading to Bali for the Hoop Dream Retreat. A new meditation, yoga and flow arts festival, the 2 week Bali Flow Camp will arrive in late April.

In Singapore, Bornfire celebrates its 10th year with the 10-day Bornfire Festival 2016 in June.

Do continue spreading the joy around in 2016. The future hasnt been written yet, so it’s up to you to make it a good one 🙂

Keep on spinning!
